I AM DOING A SURVEY ABOUT PLAYGROUND GERMS. PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR ME:

1) DID YOU KNOW PLAYGROUNDS HAVE MORE GERMS THAN A BATHROOM?

2) DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE HUMAN FECES, SALMONELLA, HEPATITIS A, E.COLI, SHIGELLA, STAPH, MOLDS, AND YEAST ON PLAYGROUNDS/TREES/SOIL AROUND PLAYGROUNDS?

3) HOW WOULD YOU REDUCE/PREVENT THESE GERMS?

PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS IN ORDER (1,2,3). THIS IS FOR COLLEGE COURSE REGARDING DEVELOPEMENT. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I am doing a survey......Please help me out?
1- Yes, I knew that, because bathrooms are periodically sanitized and playgrounds are not.

2- No, I did not know that specific fact.

3- I am trying to get my daughter into the habit of NOT touching her face, especially eyes, nose, and mouth. I also use hand sanitizer when we are done playing in public, or after we are in the store, or where ever. As far as I know, clean hands and not touching your face with dirty hands are the best way to prevent sickness.

2) Yes

3) If you have healthy children, just wash hands after play time.

If you have children with serious medical problems, don't visit the playgrounds,it would probably be best, to avoid any complications for themselves. And maybe keeping sick kids off the playground until they are better. To minimize the germs.

Now did you know that our kitchen sinks have more bacteria than our toilets! Fact
