Survey: Would fresh garden soil work well as an "Instant Coffee Substitute?"?
Are we talking about a substitute for instant coffee? Like Sanka?

Reply:Coming from a person who desperately used (clean) toilet paper as a filter before this doesn't seem so outlandish.
Reply:You already know the answer: Instant coffee is made from garden soil.
Reply:Well now my friend, I will say it would. I put coffee grounds in my garden, so certainly what goes around comes around.

Reply:No but it works great using a coffee machine.
Reply:Sure.

I mean we always say it looks like mud?
Reply:It would be aweful weak, it's aready ground(s).
Reply:Depends on who I invited for coffee, mix some vanilla in it, they won't even know...and a plus it's organic.
Reply:Heck yeah... It's great.
